Duties, Taxes & International Orders
When an international destination is available at checkout, an order may be dispatched from an international fulfilment location outside your destination country, depending on product availability and delivery destination. Checkout confirms whether delivery is currently available to your address.
Important: an international order may be treated as an import by the destination country. Customs duties, import taxes, VAT/GST, brokerage charges or carrier handling fees can depend on your destination, the value and origin of the goods, the product classification and the shipping method.
Will I have to pay anything when my order arrives?
Possibly. Where duties and taxes are collected by SOLBANA at checkout, they will be shown as part of your checkout total. Where they are not collected at checkout, the destination customs authority or delivery carrier may assess charges before or at delivery. Unless SOLBANA expressly states at checkout that duties and import taxes are included, destination-country import charges may remain the recipient's responsibility.
SOLBANA does not set or control charges imposed by customs authorities or carriers and cannot guarantee the amount that may be assessed.
Customs delays
Customs processing can occasionally delay an international parcel beyond the estimated delivery window. These delays are outside SOLBANA's direct control, but our support team can assist with available tracking information.
Refusing an import charge
If a parcel is refused because the recipient does not pay a valid customs, duty, tax or carrier charge that was not collected by SOLBANA at checkout, the parcel may be returned to sender. Any refund will be handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds policy and applicable consumer law, taking into account amounts SOLBANA cannot recover where permitted by law.
